Baby Adams Adoption Fundraiser

Thrilled to support my friend Jenna and her husband, Bryson, as they raise funds to adopt a baby! Believe it or not, domestic adoption costs can range between $45,000- $75,000+. Although I did not have money to donate to their fund, I did have time and talent and offered to do mini sessions in Jenna’s parent’s back yard for their network of friends. We raised $1,000!

I had the pleasure of photographing Annabelle Tometich, the award-winning journalist, food writer and restaurant critic. She spent 15 years pretending to be a white guy by writing restaurant reviews as Jean Le Boeuf for the USA TODAY Network. She recently shed the Frenchman pseudonym to review restaurants as her mixed-race self. She is at work on a memoir about her Filipina mother and biracial childhood in Robert E.
