Sharing the Price family memories during a recent morning on Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, FL. Alisa and I have been "Insta-friends" for a while and Kevin and I are connected through the FGCU Alumni Association, so I was looking forward to photographing their beautiful kiddos and Tyler's first birthday cake smash! We had great time together and my favorite part was the mini boom box Kevin and Alisa brought on the beach for Tyler and Myla to dance! In all my years of photographing that was the first time I've ever had that happen and I appreciated it because Matt is so into tunes and brings our music with us every where we go!

Have you every opened an e-mail that made you smile? Of course you have... and I did too when I read about Josh and his family traveling to Southwest Florida on the quest for the ideal photographer to capture his family for a beach shoot. Definitely spoiled, Josh's sister is a photographer in Nashville so he had in mind what he was looking for- a photographer talented in composition, lighting, and posing. Let me clarify on the posing, not the stiff white shirt kind of photographs on the beach, but rather the lifestyle portraits we love to snap. So giving of the compliments before our camera even clicked, I can't wait for Josh and Heidi to see their gallery of photos!

Boca Grande Photographer | Hoy Family

Our adventures on Boca Grande a few weeks ago are on the blog this week. From the wide angle shots on Banyan Street to the hidden gardens along the way to the sandy white beaches, this truly is one of our fav places to shoot. I wished we loved closer! Luckily Elisabeth and her family vacation there often so perhaps we will be back to shoot as little Hudson grows to know how amazing this Florida island is!

Love, love, love this family!! We did an early Mother's Day shoot for Sujin while her sister was in town to celebrate Baby Layla's 6 month milestone. What a cutie this little girl is... Naples City Dock- The Andersons I Naples Photographer

Celebrating the new year with the Anderson family's bubbly photos at the Naples City Dock. Traveling from Chicago to Marco Island, this family was one of the most laid back, high energy groups we have worked with. So much fun!!! They started with a toast and the smiles unfolded from there as our camera clicked. Melissa contacted us for Florida inspired, creative, fun portraits and I'd have to say, we nailed it! They had cute ideas, including a photo of them holding a family portrait to resemble the TV show Modern Family. They also recreated a pose from a family photo taken over 10 years ago (you will see both at the end of this blog post and they may make you chuckle).

Amanda + Peter I Sanibel Engagement

... a giddy in LOVE couple, an ADORABLE toddler, and GORGEOUS light, what more could a photographer ask for?  Maybe a well coordinated family? This blog post has that too!!!  So many amazing images to share from Amanda, Peter, and Cullen's recent sunset photo session at the Sanibel Lighthouse Beach. Amanda was a referral from my Tanglewood Elementary friends (Thank you Kitty and Marisa) and wanted family and engagement photos to use for a Save the Date for their wedding in 2015. Wearing their wedding colors, Amanda and Peter dressed in teal and silver grey- such a stunning combo for beach photos. Congratulations to these two! Fort Myers Photographer I Blooming Mommy + Fam

Excited to blog the images from my friend Lisa's recent family portrait session at Bonita Springs Riverside Community Park. Of course she dressed her family perfect for the occasion. Lisa is the co-owner of Green Street Boutique, a stylish fun spot for gifts, clothing, jewelry, and baby items in Bonita Springs.  I admire Lisa for her entrepreneurial spirit and how much she has accomplished in one year. Seems like just a few short months ago we were brainstorming over wine and sharing our career aspirations.  Her boutique is amazing and I can't wait to see what she has planned for 2015! She is a beautiful wife, loving mom, and caring friend. Love ya, Lisa- I am thankful for our friendship.

Twins: Blair & Patrick I Fort Myers Family Photography

Congrats to Ammi and Max on winning our "Pin It to Win It" promotion! Ammi pinned Summer inspiration items to a Pinterest board that was entered into a drawing for a free photo session.  How cool is that!!?!?!?!  We LOVE Pinterest! Ammi was soooo easy going and excited to have a family photography session to capture her growing twins.

We waited until Blair and Patrick turned 7 months and were sitting up.  Poor Blair had a bug during our shoot and ended up with a fever shortly following our session (you could never tell by the photos below).  They are the CUTEST babies!!!

Captiva Family Photography I McMullen Family Returns

The McMullen family returns to SWFL with cute Greyson and their newest edition, baby Cosette, born in June.  We were eager to photograph this family again after their beautiful shoot from last year at Casa Ybel and Captiva featured here.  Libby did an amazing job coordinating her family outfits and asked to have Cozy photographed in my mom's mermaid tail and beach hammock. My favorite part of the session ended with Libby wearing a lace dress from SewTrendyAccessories holding Cozy in the waves of the ocean. JUST GORGEOUS!!! Meet Emma I One Month Photos I Nashville, TN

Pamper yourself, Emma! Your aunt Molly is visiting and there are about to be loads and loads of photo opportunities!

Visiting at your one month mark made for a few challenging attempts to capture the "newborn" images your mom and grandma were lusting after. Once we got into the groove and adjusted our expectations (newborns are much easier to capture sleeping) we did just fine.  You are AMAZING and I am elated I got to spend a week with you at the beginning of your life. 

I always knew you’d be a great mom someday, Hannah. Celebrating the incredible mom you are to Emma and the wonderful aunt you are to Lillian this Mother's Day. 

"All you need is Love"... "You are my Sunshine"... "Emma" and "Made in Nashville, TN".  Such a beautiful space for Emma Louise Lovejoy to grow. Love how all the details came together in Emma's nursery.

Fort Myers Baby Photographer I Meet Abigail

Enjoyed capturing Ryan and Clay's gorgeous little girl while they were visiting Fort Myers a few weeks ago. They are loving their new role as parents to Abigail, who just turned 3 months this week! All smiles and giggles with long lashes and stunning blue eyes!

FORT MYERS FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER | Parker/Gilbert Family

I was lucky enough to photograph my dear friends, Jessica and Jeremy, on their recent trip to Fort Myers to visit Jessica's mom and dad for Christmas. My camera captured Wright fitting into his role as a big brother and I was delighted to meet Ronan for the first time.  Jessica's parents made me feel right at home, reminding me that our friendship has lasted the span of 15 + years. It's an annual tradition for us to meet up for the holidays and an occasional other celebration like weddings, babies, or running a marathon!!!  I will forever remember Jessica cheering me on at mile 23 in Tampa during the Gasparilla Marathon in 2009. Miles later, cities apart (The Gilberts lived in Chicago and now Washington D.C.), it's like time has frozen and we reconnect like we're still walking the halls of FMHS.

Why I loved this session... I photographed Jessica as a mom, wife, and daughter. I also captured the beauty of Jessica's mom, Ronnie with her husband and family. I know this meant so much to the family.
